(1) The University of Agriculture and Forestry has been established for the study, teaching and research of subjects related to agriculture and forestry.
(2) Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science Studies in Chitwan District, Rampur Agriculture Campus and Hetaunda Forest Campus operating in Makwanpur District, jointly incorporating Hetaunda Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science Studies, which is a part campus of Tribhuvan University, received a grant from the Government of Nepal at the time of commencement of this Act. And this university will be established in Rampur Agricultural Campus.
(3) The central office of the university will be in Chitwan district.
